How Many Cameras Will You Have at My Performance?
We always set up a minimum of two cameras for each recital we record. For larger recitals, we will bring additional cameras to allow us to capture the entire event. In addition, we also bring a complete backup system in case of equipment failure. Your recital video won't be one single camera angle for the entire performance. Because we use multiple cameras for every recital, your video will have a great mix of close-up shots and wide angle views of your students' performances.

Do You Offer DVDs?
Absolutely. DVDs record much sharper detail and more vibrant colors than VHS tape. DVD players have also become much more affordable over the last few years. DVDs last much longer, and won’t deteriorate like VHS cassettes.

You'll find a big difference between the DVDs we create and what you may have seen from other companies. Every Recital DVD we create includes custom motion menus, chapter points for each number, and full-color custom cases. How Long Will It Take to Receive My Finished Recital Video?

What Equipment Do You Use?
We use professional Panasonic broadcast cameras at every recital we record. These cameras offer superb low-light capabilities, and record rich color detail. The audio is recorded using AKG, Shure, and AudioTechnica microphones. We edit the video programs on Apple workstations.

As good as our equipment is, it is only as good as the operators. We strongly encourage you to view samples from the videographers you are considering. Was the video artistic? Did it move you emotionally? A videographer’s cameras and computers don’t bring life and emotion to your recital video. Only experienced professionals can do that.

How Much Does a Professional Recital Video Cost?
Tthe production costs for your recital video are paid for by the sales of the DVDs, which sell for $35. To cover the production costs, we do require a minimum number of DVDs to be purchased for each performance we film.

Our one-of-a-kind Recital Video program allows your studio to make up to $10 for every DVD copy sold. With this program, your studio handles all the sales and distribution of the DVDs. When the production is finished, we deliver all the DVD copies to your studio and you handle the distribution. The more videos your organization sells, the more your studio makes.
